ABOUT FORENSIC OUTREACH &

STAFF INFORMATION

In the summer of 2002, the Haverstock school in Camden, London was looking for some help organising a summer school with the theme of being an investigator. They got in touch with Kimberlee Moran (then Lange), an MSC student at University College London. The first mock murder investigation was born.

In 2003, more schools were getting in touch looking for various projects. The CSI masterclass was developed in response to St. Gregory's High School in Barnet, interested in an after-school programme.

2004 saw exponential growth! Schools from all over the UK were interested in summer schools, one-off lectures, masterclasses, and even teacher training days. Partnerships were established with local police forces during the summer schools and links were made with universities across the UK.

In 2005, Forensic Outreach was officially born as its own unique organisation offering education, outreach, and innovation in the field of forensic science. Whilst the programmes are facilitated mainly by Kimberlee, other experts have gotten involved, help out, and offer their services.

Below is a list of those involved with Forensic Outreach. Click on their name to learn more about them!
